Our Story.

Revivus was founded in 2022 by a women who’s mission was to help rid the world of waste.

This stemmed from a 45-year relationship with second hand shopping. Jumble sales, charity shops, car boots, online selling, and swapping with friends.

There were only a few charity shops in the 60’s and 70’s, so jumble sales were the housewife’s choice for cheap clothes and household items.

Jumble sales were the only way working class families were able to to clothe their children and buy essential house hold items.

Jump forward 45yrs and REVIVUS was launched in Staffordshire, England.

The name was taken from the Latin word REDIVUVUS which means renewed or renovated.

We all hate waste. Food, clothes, furniture, and money are all very important to us, so keeping it out of landfill and helping others starting out in life is fulfilling and kind.

People buy too many clothes they don’t wear, throw away food they don’t eat and skip furniture that they no longer want.

Waste is ugly. It causes so much damage to people, families, communities, and the planet.

If we are careful and considerate with things we no longer want, we all become better off, we all have clothes, food, and enough furniture and household items to live a good life.

We hold many things dear to us, photographs, letters, and items from the past that mean so much, the rest is part of our throw away world that causes damage and pain.
